پروفیسر ایم۔ایم شریف اگرچہ اصلاً پنجابی تھے لیکن درحقیقت وہ تھے علی گڑھ کاسرمایۂ گراں پایہ۔ وہ یہاں طالبِ علم رہے، پھر فلسفہ کے پروفیسر اورصدر شعبہ ہوئے۔یونیورسٹی کے پرووائس چانسلر بھی بنے اوراپنے علم وفضل، اخلاق وعادات اورہمدردی ومحبت کے باعث یونیورسٹی کی سوسائٹی میں نہایت مقبول اور ہردلعزیز ہوکر رہے،تقسیم کے بعد علی گڑھ کی یہ دولت پاکستان منتقل ہوگئی تواب اُن کے تحقیقی اورتصنیفی جوہر کھلے، چنانچہ ادب، فلسفہ اوراسلامیات پر انھوں نے انگریزی اور اُردو میں اتنی فکرانگیز اورمحققانہ کتابیں اورمقالات لکھے جوایک مصنف کے فخر کرنے اور اس کو علم وادب کی دنیا میں زندہ جاوید بنانے کے لیے کافی ہیں۔ اسی بناء پر اُن کو پاکستان میں علمی اعزاز بھی بڑے سے بڑاحاصل ہوا،ادارۂ ثقافتِ اسلامی کے ڈائرکٹر ہوئے،پاکستان فلاسفکل کانگریس کے صدر چُنے گئے،پنجاب یونیوسٹی میں فیکلٹی آف آرٹس کے ڈین مقرر ہوئے۔ان کاقلم بڑا شگفتہ نگار اورباغ وبہار تھا۔ طبعاً اپنے نام کی طرح نہایت شریف اوراعلیٰ اخلاق وکردار کے انسان تھے۔راقم الحروف کی پہلی ملاقات اُس وقت ہوئی تھی جبکہ مسلم یونی ورسٹی کی انجمن تمدن وتاریخِ اسلامی کی دعوت پر۴۰ء میں راقم نے یونیورسٹی کے یونین ہال میں عمر میں پہلی مرتبہ ’’مسلمانوں کے زوال کے اسباب‘‘ پرتقریر کی تھی اورپروفیسر محمد شریف مرحوم نے اُس جلسہ کی صدارت کی تھی ۔تقسیم کو داد دیجیے کہ موصوف کاانتقال ہوگیااوراس کی اطلاع ہم کوکئی ماہ کے بعد ابھی پچھلے دنوں لاہور کے ماہنامہ ثقافت کے چار مہینوں کے یکجائی نمبرسے ہوئی، اناﷲ وانا الیہ راجعون۔ اﷲ تعالیٰ مرحوم کومغفرت وبخشش کی نعمتوں سے نوازے ۔

اہل بدعت سے تحدیث و سماع کا حکم: علامہ احمد شاکر کی آراء کا اختصاصی مطالعہ

Allama Ahmad Shakir was a great researcher and has a good command on religious literatures and studies. In his era, he took a great place among the scholars as a specialist in hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, Quranic interpretation, history & principals of aforementioned Subjecta. Now, he is recognized as an authority on principalities of sciences of hadith and jurisprudence. He discussed in his books regarding Sciences of hadith about narrators of hadith which are called ahl e bid‘at and the status of their Ahad?th. Because, there is a huge conflict between many principalities in perspective of accepting their Ahad?th or rejecting them. In this article, based an analytical study, some of his major and innovent concepts and justified principals about ahl e bid‘at are discussed which he had presented in his books or shows his research methodologies in different books with a special study on al-musnad by Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal (r.a). The research shows his viewpoints regarding this kind of narrators that they are, with some conditions, acceptable and their Ahad?th are also should be narrated. Although, some ancient scholars do not allow with primarily conditions, which are described in this study along with their status & conditions.

Stability Analysis of Celestial Objects and Cosmos

In this thesis, we study various evolutionary aspects of relativistic collapsing systems, thin-shell wormholes as well as cosmos by incorporating the e®ects of di®erent physical parameters. We consider both spherical and cylindrical stellar objects ¯lled with electromagnetic °uids and discuss their dynamical instability under radial oscillations. The dynamical instability of homogeneous sphere as well as relativistic polytropes is discussed by taking di®erent values of charge in Newtonian and post Newtonian regimes. Moreover, we evaluate the ranges of radii as well as adiabatic index for both charged and uncharged dissipative homogeneous cylinder. It is noted that dynamical instability occurs in the presence of charge if the gaseous mass contracts to the limiting radius. We discuss stability of thin-shell wormholes coupled with nonlinear electrodynam- ics in the vicinity of di®erent cosmological models for exotic matter. A general equa- tion of state is considered in the form of linear perturbation which explores stability of the respective wormhole solutions. We assume linear, logarithmic and Chaplygin gas models to study exotic matter at thin-shell and evaluate maximum viable regions for stability with di®erent values of the involved parameters. We also study stability of thin-shell wormholes in Einstein Ho®mann-Born-Infeld electrodynamics following the same dynamical approach. It is found that the Ho®mann-Born-Infeld parameter and electric charge enhance the stability regions. Finally, we discuss dynamical stability of isotropic and homogenous universe model via phase space analysis by taking a noninteracting mixture of electromagnetic and viscous radiating °uids whose viscous pressure satis¯es a nonlinear version of the Israel-Stewart transport equation. We evaluate corresponding critical points for var- ious choices of physical parameters. It is found that bulk viscosity as well as elec- tromagnetic ¯eld enhances the stability of accelerated expansion of the isotropic and homogeneous cosmos. We also study phase space analysis of locally rotationally sym- metric Bianchi type I universe model by taking di®erent linear combinations for the interactions between scalar ¯eld models and dark matter. This indicates a matter dominated epoch ultimately followed by a late accelerated expansion phase. We con- clude that all the critical points lead to accelerated expansion of the universe for tachyon coupled ¯eld.
